No documentary photographs of the work

In this work, dyes are used as colorants instead of pigments. While dyes are more vivid compared to pigments, they tend to fade and lose their color over time. Despite the possibility that the painting might eventually disappear, I attempted to create art using this drawing machine that employs what might be considered excessive energy for painting.

本作では色材として顔料ではなく染料を用いている。 染料は顔料と比較すると鮮やかに発色する反面、退色や色が褪せてしまう性質を持つ。 いつか消えてしまうかもしれない絵画に対して、絵を描くには過剰とも思えるエネルギーを用いたドローイングマシンを利用して絵画を生み出すことを試みた。
